  • How do I spot a scam on-line and what do I need to do to set-up anti-virus protection software?

IT Training Guides

The group was set up to provide a forum for members to get help with their computer problems or to improve their skills with their computers, tablets notebooks etc. In a world that provides so much access to on-line information and entertainment, an inability to use these devices restricts your life and the enjoyment of it. This group will help you sort out problems, set up your computers, or teach you in a friendly way to get to grips with the technology and to use it effectively.

Come along with your computer, tablet, laptop, or smart-phone and tell us how we can help. There will always be someone there who knows what to do and will take you through the correct process or help you solve an issue and ensure that you are safe and sure of your actions.

Internet connections are available and members will take you through a step by step process to overcome your difficulty. There is no excuse to be afraid of the machine and the life-enhancing benefits are too great to miss out on.

This self help group has gone from strength to strength over the last few years testifying to its effectiveness, sociability and its extreme usefulness as a valuable resource to those who have not grown up in the digital age.

Every one is welcome to come and join. We positively welcome new members. Any new potential members of the group can come and sit and listen (and join in) if you are not sure or just want to see what goes on and talk to someone about this subject and what can be achieved.
